Not a Beefeater

Some days, I swear there’s an elf in my kitchen who loads up my freezer with outlandish stuff that I wouldn’t normally buy. If you recall, the last time, it was a bag of frozen scallops which ended up waltzing in the skillet with the asparagus. This time, I found a tray of Aussie minced beef. What?!! Hey, do I look like a Beefeater to you?😂
Well, I’m not much of a Beefeater but I do eat beef once in a very, very blue moon. So finding this minced beef in my freezer, I decided to cook spaghetti bolognese. Okay, I didn’t have any spaghetti but found some long-expired linguine. Is 3 years long enough for you😁?! Remember those good ol’ days before stuff came with pesky best-by dates? and we never had to stress about how long they’ve been sitting around🙄 and I still don’t.
This is so simple and you wouldn’t believe how delicious expired pasta tastes😂. What was that my man Leonardo said about simplicity again? Yup! I made a huge batch of simple sophistication and had enough left over for lunch. Definitely going to make this again if Elfie decides to plonk another tray of Aussie minced beef in my freezer. 📣Hey, Elfie, you hear me??! oh and next time, stay and do the dishes too, will ya, pretty please?😉😁
