Everyday Ruralty
1. Do you worry about what other people think?

Nah, I pretty much do what I like, do what I want (who cares?) within the limits of courtesy and reason, of course.

2. Do you own a sewing machine?

😆 No, haven’t even seen one in ages.

3. Tell us about someone interesting in your life. Please.

I have a girl friend who is such a “sport” you would not believe. I mean, she literally leaped out of a helicopter into the pitch dark forest below at midnight and hung around with the leeches, snakes and apes for a good half hour before she was picked up and brought back to civilization. And all this in the name of some crazy survival course. Oh, if you’re thinking she’s 25, multiply that by 2 and then add a handful more. Well, she was all ecstatic and thought it was great fun. Just listening to her made me grip my chair going, fun? really? She drives like she has no brakes, even my daughters have their hearts in their throats when we’re in her car, haha! I love that woman. I want to be just like her when I grow up.

4. Did you watch the Super Bowl?

What’s the Super Bowl again? 😆 I’m probably the only person on the North American continent who didn’t watch it.

5. What’s the best dinner you had last week?

I made roast chicken drumsticks and they were an absolute hit.

Have a super-awesome week. I read there’s another polar vortex-y thing coming (man, someone needs to go apologize to Mother Nature, we must’ve ticked her off real good). Stay safe, everyone and lotsa love.

Nope, you aren’t the only one. I didn’t watch the Super Bowl either. I’m just not a sports person.

Your friend sounds really cool! Snakes and apes I can deal with. I photograph snakes for fun. They even pose for me. But, leeches would give me pause. I don’t think that I’d like those one bit. They make me think too much about horrendously torturous medical “treatments” that people have endured in the past and continue to endure today.

    Have a great week!
