Wednesday Hodgepodge 149

1. My sister is celebrating a birthday today. Happy Birthday little sis! What’s one way you’re like your siblings? If you don’t have siblings, how are you like your lifelong best friend or cousin?

I’d like to think I’m different 😀 .

2. What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of yourself at age eighteen?

3. Sculptor-actor-painter-dancer…if you could excel in one of these arts, which would you choose and why?

This is hard. For lack of a better choice, I’ll go with dancer. I love music and I love to dance. Only problem is I have 2 left feet and even magic dancing shoes won’t do much good. So! 😆

4. What’s a scent that takes you back in time, and where does it take you?

The overpowering scent of sickly perfume (what do people do, empty the bottle on themselves?) brings me back to a fierce, fire-breathing teacher who terrified all of us. That’s how we always knew she was making her way down the hallway to our classroom, we could smell her sickly perfume for miles.

5. November is for Peanut Butter Lovers (National Peanut Butter Lovers Month). Are you a lover or a hater? What’s your favorite dish/recipe that calls for peanut butter?

I love peanut butter. I eat it plain as a spread (not very often) but I’ve never tried cooking with it.

6. What do people thank you personally for most often?

My kids always thank me after we eat out, for cooking their favorite food, for driving them places, just the little stuff that I think are pretty important.

7. What event this year are you most thankful for?

My eldest son graduating from college.

8. Insert your own random thought here.

It’s pouring bucketfuls as we speak. We’re going through a stretch of freaky electrical storms and for once, it’s actually nice and cool, just the way I like it. How’s your weather?

Thanks, Joyce, and have a super week, dear friends!
