Chats on the Farmhouse Porch 110 September 17, 2013 1. What’s the one thing you feel is the biggest waste of your time during an average week? Sitting in traffic. If I’d paid a little more attention in my Physics class, I’d have built myself a flying car by now. 2. When was the last time you baked a pie? A few weeks before Steev left for grad school, I set out to bake him some apple pies but ended up with apple tarts instead. No harm done, he loved them just the same. 3. What do you want to spend time doing that you aren’t right now? Experimenting with new recipes. 4. What do you do with old clothes? I toss them into the huge donation box outside the Buddhist temple that I go to. When I’m in Cali, I send down to the local Goodwill. 5. If we were having lunch on the porch today, what would you bring for the potluck styled lunch? I’d bring the Dijon Chicken Drumsticks that Raine made for dinner over the weekend. So good I promise you’ll love it. A little crispy on the outside, silky on the inside. How’d she even do that??! 😀 Thanks for another week of great questions, Patrice (hi Wendell). Have a great week, everyone and thanks for commenting 😀 . If you enjoyed this post, follow me on Twitter and Pinterest for more Hip posts like this. Homeschool on the Croft September 17, 2013 at 3:13 pm Tart or pie … sounds good to me! I’d love to try out more recipes too … I’ve become stale in my choices – going back to the same tried and tested ones. Oh, and these chicken drumsticks sound amazing! Drooling! Anne x Clairity September 17, 2013 at 4:30 pm Exactly, I need to bring up our meals a notch too. Tiffany Khyla September 17, 2013 at 7:30 pm These are such cute questions. I love apple pie, but tart sounds delicious too. I’ve actually never had it! Tragic, I know. I definitely agree with the sitting in traffic. Such a huge waste of my time every day! That’s the main thing I dislike about working a 9-5 job. Yikes. Thanks for participating in the meet and greet blog hop! Debi September 18, 2013 at 2:08 am Those drumsticks sound delicious! I’d like to get a bit more adventurous in the kitchen too. Have a great week! Katie September 18, 2013 at 4:49 am I love drumsticks still, the recipe sounds delish/ patrice September 19, 2013 at 3:08 pm The chicken sounds good.I like apple tarts just as much as apple pies. My daughter just asked if I would make some apple hand pies for her to carry to a horse show. They’re easier to eat, without making a mess.
