Wednesday Hodgepodge 119

1. What are your plans for Easter? Are you cooking a big lunch or dinner? Dyeing eggs? Attending a sun rise service? Eating too much chocolate?

No plans 😀 .

2. What is something you feel too young to do?

To keep saying I’m too old for this and that.

3. “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud…it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs…” Of the characteristics mentioned in the biblical definition of love, which do you find most difficult to live out and why?

I think the hardest would probably be to keep my cool and not get angry. With the kind of busy, stressful lives we lead and many of the situations we meet with out there, I would have to be a saint (which clearly I’m not) to not have a bad day when fuses may be short.

4. What’s a springtime flower you associate with your childhood?

Where I grew up, there was no spring.

5. Ever sung karaoke? If so, what’s your go-to song? If not and you’re given the opportunity, would you?

I have been to a karaoke a couple of times but I’m not a fan at all. While I love singing, I prefer to spare others from hearing me kill a song and save myself from hearing songs murdered.

6. What is something you keep in a basket?

I love baskets. I have baskets for all sorts of things, from keys to watches to fashion jewelry.

7. When was the last time you felt foolish?

Can’t think of it right now but foolish can be funny and it’s good to laugh at yourself every so often.

8. Insert your own random thought here.

I rediscovered an old email account that I’d completely forgotten about. I’m amazed it’s still there after all these years! Well, I spent the afternoon clearing it of the 18,000 emails that’s collected there over the years, duh! What I also found were dear little emails Hip2bDaughters sent me when they were 12 and 10. It was the sweetest surprise ever *sniff*! It’s like opening a time capsule to find the keepsakes we posted so long ago. No way I’m going to delete those. They’re precious!

Thanks for hosting, Joyce. Hope you all have a warm-warmer-warmest rest of the week 😉 .
