1. What is your favorite time of day to read? If you don’t enjoy reading, then what is your favorite time to watch TV/movies?

I do most of my reading in my carriage car while waiting for my royal highnesses to emerge from school. In case you’re wondering, it does take much, much longer for me to finish a book and it takes a lot of discipline teeth-gritting to put it down at the most exciting part when said princesses climb in and we have to roll along.

2. Did you watch the Super Bowl? If so, what was your favorite commercial? If you didn’t watch it, what did you do Sunday night?

Nope, didn’t watch it. But I came across the model and geek ad and it made me wince. Is that really appropriate for national TV? Sunday night, we had a quiet dinner at home.

3. Have you been watching Downton Abbey?Who’s your favorite character? If not, have you seen any interesting TV or movies series lately?

Nope but I’m going to have to check it out. Is anyone else watching? Is it good?

4. Do you enjoy home parties for selling items? (like Pampered Chef, Southern Living, Mary Kay)

I guess they’re okay as long as there’s no pressure to buy at the end.

5. Please finish this sentence. If I work very hard, I can__________________.

If I work very hard, I can learn to speak French on my own without attending classes. I’m still at the basics right now, plodding along like a turtle at my own pace. It’s a fascinating language but not an easy one to master.

Learning French…oh, my. I do well to speak English!!! I only saw a portion of the geek and model commercial…I agree, totally inappropriate for children watching. 😳 HOPE you have a great day!

I thought that about that commercial as well. I was happy to see that overall though, the superbowl ads were more geared towards being funny than ‘sexy’, I remember a few years ago it seemed like every ad was a naked girl, it just seems wrong!

French is difficult compared to Spanish. I have really enjoyed Downton Abbey, but I am always fond of British History dramas. I’ve been an Austen addict for years. Have a great week!

I agree, some of the things they show on TV these days are completely inappropriate.

Have fun learning to speak French. 🙂

    Have a great week!

Learning another language would be a challenge but what a great payoff in the end when you can speak 2 languages!! Good luck.
