1. Are you planning on doing most of your Christmas shopping in stores, or online?

A bit of each. I like going to the store but if, on a regular day, I get people plastering themselves against my back (people with no concept of personal space, there I said it!), and kids weaving in and out between my legs (the same ones who will be driving dangerously in 10 years!), can you imagine what it’ll be like when the holiday spirit is in full swing?

Not a pretty picture. If I do go which is very likely since I will need to get groceries and eat lunch at some point, I usually end up walking into a store, glazing over stuff and walking out again. Which kinda defeats the whole idea of shopping.

So online is good. I love it. I can be “gone” for hours without worrying if I’m running up a huge parking fee. Happily, I’ve done most of my shopping online already but like I said, I’m not saying there won’t be a next wave 😉 .

2. Have you ever been to a bonfire?

Yup, really fun.

3. What would “simplifying life” mean to you?

Having less clutter so there’s less cleaning. I hate housework. Getting in traffic less. Most people here leave home without their brains so you can imagine what a health hazard it is to even step out of the house.

4. Tell me about one blog you really enjoy reading.

In general, I like rib-tickling snarky blogs 😆 .

5. Have you ever had someone who isn’t in your family, but felt just like family?

There might’ve been a few but none particularly memorable.

I’ve got lots of shopping done, but I won’t say I’m finished. Hopefully I can get it all done before Thanksgiving so I can avoid the crowds. Less clutter is a good thing – less is more, I always say. Have a blessed week.

I’m with you when you talk about personal space while shopping! I hate crowds. I agree with everything you said on the simplifying question. Snarky blogs are fun to read. Have a great week!
