Making it count

I’ve never been one to obsess about numbers, be it my weight, my age or calories. Still, some days, the numbers are just everywhere.

1. I woke up one morning last week to find I’d lost close to 300 of my RSS readers! Ack, where’d everyone go? Don’t they like me any more? *sobs* That ever happen to you?

Well, if you’ve been around Feedburner long enough, you know it’s as moody as the weather in Melbourne, Australia. After 2 days, all my readers were back, and then some! Yay!

2. I came across an online body fat calculator and on a whim, decided to close my eyes and give it a shot! True, I work out but I’ve never really bothered with the numbers. If you can believe it, I don’t even own a scale at home. I jump on the one at the gym once in a blue moon. I’ve never measured myself either.

Anyhow, my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to humor the calculator that was staring me in the face. Turns out I have 23.94% body fat and it says I’m ‘in shape’. Really?! Curious about your body fat? Check yours here.

3. This last number is about those of you who’re following me here and on Twitter, thank you. So excited to be making new friends, reading your comments, posts and tweets. I try my best to keep up with the follow backs and blog hopping. Parenting and Mom’s taxi can sometimes get crazy but I promise I will get around to you 😀 .

Thanks for the link! I try to read everyone’s blog, every day… but, like you, I have an non-computer life too! I just wanted to stop by and say hi and say… keep up the great blogging! Also, feedburner is messing with my “commentluv” stuff. It’s annoying.

I wonder sometimes what’s up with Feedburner. I thought readers were changing their minds about me all the time. Turns out Feedburner’s the fickle one, not my readers!

Yep, freaky LOL but at least the count sets itself right again after a bit.

The body fat thingy is really fun. Me and my girls had a good laugh afterwards.
