My kickbutt gym partner

We had another fantabulous workout this morning, Raine and I. Ever since we became gym partners, I’ve really been inspired to ramp up my workouts.

When Raine joined me at the gym, I became her personal trainer of sorts though she’s so motivated herself I hardly need to do much except get in there with her.

I guess she’s the kick in the butt that I needed to ramp things up. After years of working out at pretty much the same pace, I’d sorta hit a plateau.

It’s great to have someone to chat with about what works and what doesn’t, to challenge and have friendly competitions with and of course, to sneak off for a quick yummy reward with. We’re pretty excited about the results we’re seeing too.

Do you go solo or do you buddy up with a friend, and which do you find works better for you?

    I do all my workouts alone. Sometimes it gets a tad lonely. Sometimes it is a great break from the five motor mouths I gave birth too!

    I work out alone…yoga…so I guess I don’t have much choice since it’s in silence (lol). Followining you from the friday hop!

    I absolutely must run with a partner! She totally motivates me and inspires me to keep going when I feel like quitting! All my other work outs I do by myself – such as my DVD’s and what not…I am ok with doing these myself when my family is asleep, its a great way to start the day!
