Back to the grind

Okay, so I finally got myself back to the gym and working out in earnest this past week after this long hiatus. I can’t tell you how happy I am to be back at the gym. I love that place with all its lean, mean machines.

I’m so jealous when I visited the gym on Steev’s university campus and it’s like 5 times the size of the one I go to!! And they offer the students free personal trainers as well!! Hey, I wanna go back to school!

So back to my gym, first thing I did was jump on the scale. You know I don’t obsess about my weight. But since my clothes have gotten tighter in spite of all that walking and moving house and hauling a deadweight carry-on backpack, I’m naturally curious.

So jump on the scale I did! I’m 126 lbs. That’s 4 lbs I’ve gained in 6 weeks. So yeah! Well, okay, so it’s weight I can easily work off, it’s not a big deal. The chicken wings and pot roast will take some work though 😉 .
