This afternoon, Raine jumps in the car from school going, “Dang, dang, dang, I didn’t have time to finish copying all the tips the teacher gave to another class for the History test tomorrow and which one of her friends from the other class was kind enough to share. But somehow, you know, Mom, I feel guilty about it, like I’m cheating! Do you think it’s cheating, Mom?”

From day one, I’ve always taught my kids this. If you want to do good, you work at it. Cheating is not the way, you’re only cheating yourself. And it doesn’t matter if everyone else cheats.
