memory in a drawer

Confession, I haven’t seen one of these in years. Heck, I don’t even own one any more! It’s as remote to me as ’em spa filters since I don’t do the spa thang.

I found this hair dryer in a drawer in our room at the Hard Rock Hotel last month and used it to blow-dry our collective underwear 😛 . Like everyone else at the hotel, we left our swimming gear and underwear out to dry on the balcony but after a whole day, they were still damp.

Anyhow it was quite an emotional reunion we had, me and the hair dryer. It brought back memories of hurriedly running hot air through my wet hair in the mornings before kissing my babies bye-bye, then jumping into my car to head straight into the zombie line crawling in to a day of drudgery at the office.

I have long since given up blow-drying my hair, of course. It’s just wash and run now. The days are so, so hot I just want to keep that moist coolness in my hair for just that little while longer 😆 .

How cool! Haven’t seen one in years either! I don’t think I have used one since I had my first child. Sometimes, I feel like I’m too busy to even wash my hair (gross)….LOL! Anyway, thanks for always stopping by my blog.

Oh I used to use one of those too. Of course, one would have to shower to have wet hair and seeing that I don’t get to do that as often anymore, I don’t see my hair dryer as often as I should. Love it! Too funny!
