easy spaghetti for busy days


This is spaghetti made with Heinz tomato and basil sauce. I usually cook this on busy days. I just use it straight out of the bottle and add some chopped garlic and water to loosen up the chunky bits.

Actually I prefer Prego because it’s less chunky and I can throw in blanched veggies of my choice. I use Heinz for a bit of variety sometimes but I add a bit more sugar as Heinz sauce tends to be more tangy.

I mix the cooked spaghetti right in the saucepan instead of ladling it on top. There’s more room in the saucepan to get the individual strands of spaghetti coated more evenly.
