clothes I would’ve so bought for my girls

You know, one of the things I enjoyed most about being a mother to two daughters is shopping for their clothes when they were little. In fact, I have to admit I loved it so much I would apply for a day off work to rush to the sales first thing in the morning. I would sometimes spend half a day just dallying over all the little girls’ clothes.

I would pick different designs and colors, mostly the ones I would wear myself, hehe! These designs below remind me of similar ones I have bought for my girls back then.

BG Beautiful Girls – Girls Sleeveless Jean Set
– Love the one-sided ribbon on the sleeve, sash belt and tattered legs. Very funky lemon top!

Soup – Toddler Girls’ Sleeveless Skirt Set
– Love the lacey skirt trimmings and graduated bright pink from top to bottom!

Flowers by Zoe – Girls’ Tiered Skirt
– Love the shimmery tiers on this one!

Of course, I loved tying up their hair with matching accessories too. Not to mention that shopping has gotten a lot less brokeback, or is it, back-breaking since then and you can always go dig around Bargainchildrensclothing.com for great prices and nice designs like these.

stupid handbag deal of the week

If I had to name my business promotion, I probably wouldn’t have thought of a more interesting name.

Baghaus Stupid Deal of the Week

As it is, I’m the most misunderstood person on the planet. So if I even breathed the word “stupid”, I’d probably never hear the end of it. Anyhow there’s nothing stupid about taking advantage of a great bargain for a funky handbag that’s going to get those gaps a-flappin’, know what I mean  ?

Louvre Luv Me Not Hobo

This stunning fuchsia synthetic leather bag with lots of zippered bags is just one of this week’s stupid deals. There are new and different bags on discount every single week  !

Better remember to check out next week’s Stupid Deal of the Week and the following week’s and the week after that, all through December 31, 2009. They’ve got handbags going at unbelievable prices and savings of 50% off or more. Nothing can stop me now!

Big Buddha Hillary Bag
– And finally a high quality synthetic leather bag with gold-toned hardware for Mom’s day on the town with her girl friends.

personalized back-to-school stuff

I know of lots of little girls who are just nuts about pink. If you’re a mother who needs to think pink when shopping for back to school stuff for your princess, here are a few pink ideas.

Ceramic Lady Bug Plate

This personalized 9″ ceramic plate is hand painted and then fired so it is food safe. It’s a neat little plate for special occasions, i.e. birthdays, honor roll, just because it’s Wednesday and you are you, etc. You an also hang this on her room wall as a room accent. Birth information can be added in addition to name. It’s dishwasher and microwave safe, and all paint is certified lead-free!!

Little Scholar Set – pink

This school set includes backpack, insulated lunchbox and zippered pencil box constructed of water-resistant vinyl with reinforced stitching and roomy compartments.

All of the kiddy items at My Bambino are very cute and many of them are on sale now. Personalization is free on all items. Yes, personalizing is a must if you don’t want to end up looking for lost items at school  .

baby carrier to the rescue!

Steev was a big baby and a late walker. He only started cruising at around 14 months so you can imagine what it was like taking him to the mall. Our little sumo wrestler hated sitting in the stroller so I had to carry him on my hip. Even when Hip2bDad and I took turns, we came close to killing our backs and could only struggle short distances before we started huffing and puffing.

So we got a baby carrier like this Kelty Baby Carrier to carry him around. This helped to distribute the weight and make it a lot less tiring. It’s probably one of the best things we ever bought.

I can’t remember what brand we bought but Kelty baby carriers are JPMA certified and padded for comfort. You can have the child facing in or out. This one has a 25 pound weight limit. You want to be mindful of the weight limits so you choose one that fits your baby.

You can find this and a whole selection of baby carriers online at eBags and save 10% off plus enjoy free shipping on purchases over $50.
