It’s veggie day every day. Love broccoli, arugula, asparagus, spinach, cabbage…

2. How did you spend your Father’s Day? Or for those who don’t have Father’s Day on June 16th, what did you do this weekend?

Twas a quiet weekend.

3. June 18th is National Splurge Day… if you were (are) going to participate, what would/will you splurge on?

I recently spoilt myself with 4 pairs of Levi’s, a couple of Nine West purses, a pair of Chinese Laundry wedges, and a small mountain of lingerie, tops and hoodies. I think I’m officially done with splurging for this year.

4. What is the farthest you’ve ever traveled from home?

So far, I’ve only ventured about halfway across the planet.

What are 3 fresh cooking ingredients you must have in your kitchen?

    Some sort of seasoning salt is always a must, onion and garlic. I can make anything taste good with those on hand.

    Fresh cooking ingredients would be mushrooms (like them in most anything), basil and thyme from my herb garden.

    I have to have olive oil, garlic and pepper in my kitchen at all times!

    I don’t cook however DH uses fresh foods for nearly everything.

    When I can get it, I love to have fresh garlic. The garlic we’ve found around here lately has an icky off-taste to it, so I’m using powdered garlic for now. We also love green onions and red onions.

    I don’t think that I’ve ever had arugula, but I love all of the other veggies that you mentioned and Brussels sprouts, too.
