Okay, so we’re a family of picky eaters. There’s just certain foods we wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole, and there are certain foods we just can’t get enough of.

We’re guacamole freaks and I’m to blame. I discovered this yumminess when my girl friend and I were on vacation in San Luis Obispo, California. It was my birthday and she’d secretly told the motel people who promptly showed up at our door with a huge bunch of flowers. How sweet!

Later we discovered the terrace cafe downstairs was serving free chips and guacamole. Loved it so much I made several trips down there to harass the good-looking guy into refilling my bowl  . Or maybe it was just my excuse to go check out that hunk a few more times  .

Anyhow great stuff, the guacamole, not the guy. No fat burner needed either, no guilt. And now my girls love it too.

What’s one food you can’t get enough of?

  1. Fresh guac and salsa? I could definitely munch on that for a while! I could eat mexican every day! My other favorite is spaghetti and then sushi. Salmon pieces. YUM!

  3. My house is in LOVE with Guac! We just had some last night. I love avocados in general and often put them in salads or on sandwiches.

  4. I love Guac. I love most foods, really.

  5. I have to be honest and say that I have never tried this. But I guess I should if it’s that good!

Food I can’t get enough of – onion rings! I LOVE LOVE LOVE good onion rings! And Spanish rice!

  6. I love guacamole too! You can’t go wrong with an avocado! I dice tomatos and add fresh corn and diced avocados with some red onion, cilantro and lime and it makes the very best salad. I could eat my weight in it.
And I’m a sucker for pasta and all seafood.
