The nights are perfect for sleeping, thanks to the torrential downpours in the evenings… and I really love it, love it!

These days, I sleep for 10 to 12 hours straight and even then, I can’t seem to drag myself out of bed in the mornings.

When I get my 10 hours’ sleep, I’m in a really good mood and the kids can make me do just about anything they want me to. I’ve been cooking their favorite food, watching videos with them and learning to sing AAR songs.

The roads are so empty it’s a breeze to drive anywhere and there’s no need even for a Tacoma car accident lawyer to be in town. There’s plenty of parking at the malls and it’s a cinch finding a table at any restaurant. If only life was this laid-back every day of the year!

What’s even better and more exciting is that our new baby has arrived! We brought him home yesterday and I just can’t take my eyes off him. He’s gorgeous and he has been sleeping on Hip2bDad’s chest all afternoon. More on that later…

Now I’m off to catch 40 winks before I go serve up grilled lamb chops and baked potato for dinner tonight…
