I’ve been hankering after Yip Kitchen’s dry wonton noodles since my last trip there before Christmas last year. Wow, that feels like ages ago now. Anyhow you know me, I’m not going to drive all the way out there just for this.
But I don’t mind cooking my own dry wonton noodles at home. That way, I can eat as much as I want *smirk*. It’s not like I’ve never made this kon low meen before except I don’t put siew yoke, or roast pork, in it. But now I will.

See how I shamelessly loaded it up with crispy skin siew yoke (roast pork), char siew (barbecued pork), wonton, choy sum (leafy greens), cilantro and spring onions
.
Well, okay, you can think about that colon cleanse afterwards. But right now, I have to say I prefer the dry wonton noodle to the wonton soup. What about you?
