Just as I was predicting in my earlier post that today, Valentine’s Day, might turn out to be just another day, we chanced upon something interesting at 1 Utama.

Steev and I saw a long line of people as we were coming down the escalator. On our way to check it out, we bumped into one of my ex-staff and chatted for a while.

I learnt they’re giving out free ice cream cones but we were going to give it a miss. I don’t encourage my kids to rush for food, not even if it’s free. It’s just so unbecoming, you know, like you’ve never eaten in your life!!

But since my ex-staff was obviously excited he got his for free earlier (no purchase required) and was encouraging us to do the same, I relented and sent Steev to line up.

Well, the chocolate Cornettos were yummy! Very sweet, just like Valentine’s Day should be . When the girls joined us later, they too went to grab one with my blessings.

So I mean, yeah, it was exciting! We felt so fat that when we got into the car afterwards, it sank under our weight . I hope we won’t need to employ car lifts to see if we killed the suspension .
