Hey, it’s Valentine’s Day, bright and sunny. My girls and I greeted each other with hugs and kisses before they left early for their cross-country run.

I’d love to run with them but I don’t want to embarrass them in front of their friends, so Steev and I headed to McD’s instead for breakfast after dropping them off.

We have no plans for Valentine’s unlike some of you lucky folks who’ll be headed out to New York Restaurants for a nice candlelight dinner. The girls have their guitar class today so we won’t be home much.

I’ll be cooking a nice Sunday lunch tomorrow though. I know the kids would like any excuse to celebrate anything, so that will be our belated Valentine do.
