Wokay, so here we are, on Thanksgiving Day but no turkey to roast!! Gah! Not from lack of trying though.
This is the second year in a row that I haven’t been able to have a real Thanksgiving. Last year, there were hardly any turkeys and the prices had shot over the roof. Before that, I was roasting two turkeys a year, and one time, even 3 turkeys a year.
I started celebrating Thanksgiving in California and continued the tradition here though hardly anyone celebrates it here, I don’t think, except for the expats.
I could do without a turkey but it’s not the same. It’s like Christmas without a tree or Christmas with the hot sun blazing, you know, it’s just not the same. So I guess I’ll drop Raine off at the movies, go have a good lunch and then come home to mope *sobs*.

ooo..you celebrate Thanksgiving? err..can roast chicken instead?

We had grilled lamb chops. Better than nothing, I guess.
