feeling like green
I honestly don’t know where this week went. Seems like a strong breeze blew in Monday morning and swept me right through the week, mostly settling the kids’ school stuff.
Except for Monday, I didn’t get to the gym at all till this morning. I’ve been eating lunch out most days. No time to cook so I thought I’d be a fatty boom boom when I jumped on the scale today. Ack, I don’t know what happened but I’ve lost a little weight.
Strange how the more I work out, the bulkier I seem to get *shudder*. No, no, don’t picture me as the female Hulk now
. I’m nowhere near that muscular but I suppose, with tone comes muscle, it’s to be expected.
Seems like I’ve grown ‘thicker’ where I’ve grown firmer
. My clothes feel a little tighter. No, they’re not going rip and I won’t be turning green when I get upset.
Okay, ’nuff, I’ve rambled on from my week to my clothes. I might as well tell ya what I had for dinner last night, not that anyone cares
.
It’s just good that I got around to roasting this chicken and sitting down to eat it slowly

… with potato wedges

… and guacamole, my wicked green twist to an ordinary meal.
