Can blogging really kill? Now that’s a frightful thought no matter how you look at it. This article in the NY Times about two bloggers who apparently blogged to death is scary, yet a little hard to swallow.
It’s true these guys were bloggers but did blogging alone do them in? Maybe, maybe not. We don’t know the exact circumstances under which they worked and how driven they were.
Yes, many are driven by pure passion, many others by greed to go to all lengths to reap in the big bucks. No amount is big enough so they give up sleep, food and everything else.
And this is what I tell my kids. Money is important. It buys you stuff. But it isn’t everything. So know your priorities in life.
