One of the things that every household with kids should have, in my opinion, is a home medical kit with items you’ll need for those minor emergencies.

I’ve got one in my kitchen. It’s a drawer which I stock with ointment, cotton wool, band aid and a few other things that are easily available from online stores like AllegroMedical.com if you don’t want to bother with going out to the store.

Carrying a crying kid on one hip and try to rummage for band aid with one hand is not easy. So it’s really a good idea to have everything you need in one place.
